Atmospheric Dynamics of the Giant Planets - Moist Convection and cloud formation.


Venus atmosphere - Participation in the VIRTIS instrument onboard the Venus Express mission.


Titan atmosphere and cloud formation

ProtoPlanetary Disks - Early evolution of the Solar Nebula and formation of planetesimals.

Research related activities:

• Coordination of the International Outer Planets Watch Atmosphere node and its online database of Outer planet images: PVOL (Planetary Virtual Observatory Laboratory).
  
  
• I also develop the PLIA software, our own software package for Planetary image navigation: PLIA: The Planetary Laboratory for Image Analysis. An online version for astronomical image processing is provided on the previous link.
